Artist Statement

Everybody has to draw out their inspiration from somewhere whether it be their life itself, or what is going on society at the moment. Others find inspiration in what type of music they listen to, what type of books they read; in the end what inspires a person all depends on who that person is or rather what makes that person who they are. Personally, I don't have a thing that specifically inspires me, its just all random but if there is a constant factor on what I'm inspired with it's nature because nature is everywhere.
I first became interested in photography when I saw pictures of different photographers around the world. They were amazing, well to me they were, i mean they made nature look as if it were something supernatural. That really made an impact on what type of photos I decided to take. Although my pictures can in way compare to the ones I saw they were my attempt to be like them.
I tend to try to take my pictures from a different point of view or alter them so that they don't look like everyone else. I also tend to use the depth of field constantly in my pictures because I like for all focus to go to the directed object rather than to it's background. When its possible I like to to take pictures of insects when they are around. Sure it takes a long time to capture them in just the angle that I wanted them to but its worth it in the end when the picture comes out the way I had planed from the start.
When it comes to editing the picture I'm really not that great because it takes a long time for me since I'm not that good at it from the start. Yet, it is something that attracts me to do so to make it more eye catching like the 'Black and White rose' picture I took sure it took me a long time to get it the way I wanted it to, but in the end it had the effect i wanted it. It made the rose stand out with although decaying colors it was still beautiful.
Each picture consists of practically the same flower just taken in different angles. All still make part of my concentration in nature and more particularly in flowers.
